Mr and Mrs Cockrell

Yesterday my beautiful friend, Jacqueline, got married to her college sweetheart, Craig.
The wedding was perfect and so much fun. I don't think I've ever seen so many young people at a wedding before. That's a true testament to how sweet Jax and Craig are and how many people love them and wanted to celebrate their big day with them. I have to admit I was a really bad bridesmaid. I got a serious case of the giggles during the ceremony and thought I may have to excuse myself. I've never tried so hard to not laugh out loud. Let me tell you what happened..... Jacqueline is catholic and I was really into the whole 'Father, Son, Holy Spirit' hand gesture thing. I didn't want to be that bridesmaid who just stood there not participating in it so I made it a point to pay close attention to when I needed to do it. So we did it once and it went off perfectly. I anxiously awaited for when we could do it again. Then, it came! So here I start tapping my head, down to my heart when suddenly I became super thrown off. Nobody informed me that there's a different catholic thing where you just tap your head then kiss your fingers (or something like that). So I'm all into the Father, Son, Holy Spirit bit when I realize I'm doing it wrong. I do the whole thing then just kiss my fingers very Italian style. I was just so confused. Then I looked into the crowd and saw that about 12 dozen people just happened to catch my mistake since they were grinning at me from ear to ear watching me. I just looked at them and shrugged my shoulders. Then I started cracking up because I must have looked incredibly foolish. And that's when it started. My case of the giggles. It was horrible!!! I felt so bad but just. couldn't. stop. I finally had to think about something horrible happening to Holly to calm myself down. Ugh! Bad bridesmaid. I can't wait to see the video.

Jax and Craig are headed to the same honeymoon destination that Scott and I went to! Jade Mountain, St. Lucia. I'm so so excited that they're going there!! I can't wait to swap stories and talk about how amazing Jade is. Craig emailed me about a year ago saying they loved our honeymoon photos and thought Jade was amazing so we hooked them up with our travel agent and she took care of everything and now they get to go to the best hotel in the whole wide world!! Well, number 3 actually. They're going to LOVE it. I can't wait to hear all about it!
Congratulations Jax and Craig! I have no doubt that I'll be celebrating your marriage with you 50 years from now.
