I had a great weekend! I had my maternity pictures made Friday afternoon and I can't wait to see them! The photographer who took them is also taking our newborn photos and I was able to browse through her large collection of hats and blankets for my little Campbell to wear. She has so many options to choose from and I know his little pictures are going to be so sweet!
After our photos Scott and I drove to Fayetteville to have our anniversary dinner at Ella's Restaurant in The Inn At Carnall Hall. Yall. It was the best meal we've had in a long time. I've had lunch there before but never dinner. It was fantastic. I highly recommend dining there if you're in Fayetteville.
On Saturday Scott and I searched all over town for some art for Campbell's room. We ended up finding a mirror and canvas from IO Metro. We took it home to try it out and they both look awesome! I'm ordering a few more art pieces from Restoration Hardware then I believe we're all set as far as the nursery goes. I'm going to have it finished way earlier than I thought I would which makes me happy. The goal was to have it done exactly one month before his due date (April 11) but I think we'll be all finished by mid-February. Yay!
On Saturday afternoon my Mom drove up to NWA to pick up little Gracie. We didn't do much. We mostly hung out in Campbell's room all night long talking and hanging pictures. Mom left yesterday around lunch to head back down to Little Rock. I'm glad she was able to come up and see the progress we've made on the nursery and help us decorate it a little bit!
We're kicking off our week with a little nesting and staying warm inside the house. For lunch I decided I wanted to go to Tropical Smoothie to get their Veggie Hummus Wrap. It's so yum and Tropical Smoothie is really close to my house so it's convenient to pop by there quickly. I asked the girls if they wanted to go bye bye with me because I like to take them out of the house for a change of scenery when I can. Madison was so excited to go but Ivy said she didn't want to and ran up the top of the stairs and just sat there. I tried to talk her into it but she wasn't interested so I just took Madison with me. When we pulled into Tropical Smoothie the lady at the drive thru asked Madison if she wanted a treat which made for an extra awesome bye bye trip. Ivy totally missed out. Too bad for her!
