Three Buddies

Yesterday Campbell and I went shopping for his fall wardrobe! I die for it. He is going to be looking so super cute in his layers and beanies! I've been collecting a little bit of Gap Cash these last few weeks and it was time to cash it in. Gap Cash week is my favorite. After I spent it on Campbell clothes I realized I could have treated myself to something. Then I realized that's not near as fun. Shopping for babies.....it's addicting.
Since the weather has been so nice the girls, Campbell and I have been spending a lot of time outdoors. Campbell and I sit on the back patio and watch the girls romp around in the grass. We've also been going on a lot of long walks around the neighborhood too. I have a feeling that Campbell and the girls are going to become fast friends as the little peanut gets older. He is so fascinated with them these days. He loves watching Ivy and Madison play together and anytime they're within sight, he can't take his eyes off them. The girls are so sweet to Campbell and give him kisses all the time. The three of them are going to be buds one day....I just know it. And that makes my heart happy.
Yesterday was a little exhausting. Campbell's first nap was solid but the other two were not good at all. This made for a very tired and fussy baby all afternoon. Although due to the lack of good napping yesterday, he slept from 7:30-8:30 today (I woke him up at 8:30 actually) and I must admit, that was quite lovely. It's the first time since Campbell has been born that I 1.) didn't wake up with a 7 showing on the clock and 2.) got to wake up, hang out in bed and watch TV instead of waking up and hitting the ground running. Campbell is doing the habitual waking during his naps again and the 45 minute intruder has returned to our house. I've got a little trick up my sleeve though and I'm hoping that I can conquer that bad boy again. Wish me luck.
Until tomorrow....
