Weekend Fun

We had such a great weekend! I had a feeling it would be a fun one and it definitely did not disappoint.
Saturday morning rolled around and I got my beloved morning of sleep in. Ahhh! I look forward to it all week. No joke. Once I got up and running (around 10:45) Scott and I decided to go out for a little Saturday afternoon lunch. Scott was craving Mojitos so we shared some fajitas and they were delicious, as always. We literally had nothing to do for the rest of the day so I asked Scott if he would mind if I just took the day to myself while he watched Campbell. There's some boutiques in Fayetteville that I've been wanting to go to for months but I never get the chance to head down that way and shop. I hopped in my car, turned the radio up and got to spend the day shopping. It was SO nice. I seriously haven't done that since Campbell was born. Seriously. I found a couple of cute tops for myself at Riffraff and Savoir Faire. I also found Campbell's birthday outfit at Bella Jacks!! I'm so excited about it. I've been shopping around for his birthday outfit for a while and have come up empty handed. This little piece is exactly what I had in mind for his first birthday. Which, by the way, is next month. Yeah. Let's take a moment to let that set in shall we.

On Saturday night Scott and I went to the movies and saw American Sniper. It was really good. I didn't cry like I thought I would but it really makes you think. I'm so thankful for our soldiers and their families. I can't imagine how hard it is for all involved.
I put Campbell in a bow tie for church yesterday and he looked SOOOO cute!!!
We ended up having people at our house for the Super Bowl. It was a good time. I don't think I watched even 5 total minutes of the game but I loved the halftime show. Missy!!! I love Missy Elliot. Werk.
