Three and 1/2

Campbell is 3.5 today! I know it may seem silly as they get older to recognize half birthdays but since this is my journal, I thought I'd take the opportunity to do a little post on Campbell and what he's like at 3.5 years old.

Weight: 30 lbs. He hasn't gained any weight at all in the last 6 months. Just getting taller!

Sleep: Campbell sleeps from 7:30-7:00. He doesn't take a nap anymore and hasn't since right around his birthday. I actually prefer the no nap and having him go to bed early instead. He handles no nap great. I always knew he'd drop his nap really early. When he was a baby he always dropped naps earlier than what was typical of most babies.
Eat: Campbell loves food cut into shapes so we have a lot of cookie cutters around here. His favorite fruit is cantaloupe, his favorite snack is still applesauce and he continues to request smoothies for breakfast every morning. Campbell is a pretty good eater. Not great but not horrible.

Clothes: I am currently trying to get Campbell's fall wardrobe together and I always have so much fun doing it. Most of his clothes are from Boden these days and he wears a 3/4 in their shirts and a 2/3 in their sweatshirts, coats and pants. He wears a size 9 shoe.
Likes: TV (he's really starting to get into all the Nick Jr shows but he still loves Disney too), playing with Bennett and loving on the girls, reading books, going to school. Campbell is getting creative with his imagination play. His favorite game is to play "Sheriff Callie" and he makes Scott be Sparky (the horse) haha! He also loves to pretend to have birthday parties. He loves to help me cook, still loves doggies, warm blankets from the dryer, taking his vitamins, trains and ice cream.

Dislikes: Quiet time, when Bennett messes up a toy or something he's working on (understandable!), taking the time to go to the bathroom (he holds it until he's dancing and about to bust).

All About Campbell: Campbell really is such a great little toddler. For the longest time I kept waiting on the ball to drop but I've decided he's just going to go easy on us. Not saying it will always be that way....but for now it is. He is so sweet, kind and respectful. He aims to please and be obedient. Campbell will talk your ear off and says hi to every single person we pass, wherever we are. If they say "hi, how are you?" to him, they just better be prepared for a full blown conversation. Campbell is such a sweet big brother to Bennett and still calls him "Boo." Campbell loves to have a good time and candy is his love language. He is my little buddy and he makes me smile daily due to the cute things he says or does. Sometimes he needs some attention but sometimes he's just in the playroom by himself doing his thing. I love this kid so much and I'm so very proud of my little boy.
