Disney Countdown - Two Weeks!

We leave for Disney in exactly two weeks and I am so tickled at myself because I am SO excited about this trip. Like, maybe more excited than any trip I've ever taken. I think it's because it's going to be the boys very first vacation and I'm just so excited for them. Also, Scott is always the vacation planner and other than getting our flights booked, I've totally taken over with this trip. Basically no one knows what we're going to be doing except for me. Ha! I'm trying hard to make this the best vacation ever. And I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of this whole Disney thing. At first I was completely overwhelmed but it's beginning to make sense and I'm catching on to all this stuff.
I spend time on my little Disney app daily to book stuff. I've booked us 4 character meals but I keep checking to see if we can get lucky and have dinner at Be Our Guest one night. I can't seem to get into Chef Mickey's either but I'm hearing mixed reviews on the food? So far I've booked a character meal for dinner the first night we arrive. The restaurant, Garden Grove, is actually at our hotel which is crazy convenient and Chip, Dale, Pluto and Goofy will be there. Perfect for my boys. I think it's going to be a great kick off for our trip! The next day I booked 1900 Park Fare for brunch/early lunch. Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland and the Winnie the Pooh characters will be there. Campbell is familiar with Winnie the Pooh because of My Friends Tigger and Pooh on Disney Jr. But he's never seen Alice in Wonderland or Mary Poppins so I want to make sure he watches those before we go! Our other character meals are at Cape May Café for breakfast (Mickey and the gang) and Trotter House at Animal Kingdom (Mickey and the gang again). If I can book Be Our Guest then I'll consider our character meals a success.
I think we're just going to be pretty easy going and take it easy while we're there. I've got some of our fast passes booked but I honestly think the boys are going to enjoy just taking it all in more than anything. I hope Bennett isn't scared of the rides. He is a super cautious little kiddo and doesn't even want to do anything at Chucky Cheese. He may be a little reserved the first day but I think he'll warm up to it all a little more each day. I'm also really excited about our beach day at our resort. I feel like it will be a nice opportunity to relax a little and take it easy.
So yeah. Basically super excited about the trip. I've ordered the boys all new outfits (because obviously) and I already have them set aside in their closet. We now own a lot of Mickey shirts because you know, when in Rome. I actually went shopping for myself today and got my Disney wardrobe all taken care of as well. Lots of black, white and red in my future. I may do a Disney Wardrobe post after our trip because I know a lot of people are planning to go to Disney this summer and I found some pretty cute stuff! I had mouse ears in mind when I chose everything because you know I'm gonna be purchasing some of those the second I walk into Magic Kingdom.
Still taking Disney tips! Everyone has given me such great advice. I've made mental notes of all the tips I've gotten and I feel like they've all been so helpful. Can't wait! Two more weeks!!
