17 Weeks

17 weeks (tomorrow) and feeling like this pregnancy is moving at lightening speed. You think your second moves fast? Try your third. I'd always heard that and it is SO true. I honestly don't spend just a whole lot of time thinking about this pregnancy which sounds weird, I know. I'm just busy with my daily life. When I have busy days or get overwhelmed with my boys I literally have panic moments and think to myself "what has happened? how am I going to handle another one? I can't do this." Since I'm prepping myself to have this baby at 37 weeks, I feel like the next 20 weeks are going to fly by and it seems like I have hardly any time left. I know I do, but it doesn't feel that way right now. Here's this weeks update!

Size of Baby: About 5 inches long and around 5.9 ounces--the size of a pomegranate.

How I'm Feeling: A whole lot better but not completely out of the woods yet. I do have a lot more energy but I still get headaches and sometimes a little bit of nausea will hit me but it doesn't last too long. Compared to how I felt just two and three weeks ago though, this week is a world of difference.

Cravings/Appetite: I feel like I completely have my appetite back. I am beginning to get to where I can't eat much for dinner though because my stomach is already running out of room!

Clothes: I tried on some of my skinny jeans just to see what would happen there. They do button so that was a win not that I could stand to leave them buttoned for more than a few seconds!! I bought a BellaBand which is just a stretchy tube that you can wear over your jeans, unzipped, so you can keep wearing you favorite jeans as your belly grows. I wanted to try my jeans on with my new BellaBand and I think I'm going to like it which is nice because I won't have to worry about buying new pants this fall/winter.

Movement: Definitely feeling some movement. This baby is growing and getting stronger for sure!

Changes in Me: I just feel like my belly is getting so big!! It always shocks me at the end of the day when I'm getting my pajamas on and I catch of glimpse of it in the mirror.

Baby Purchases: I purchased some newborn outfits from Boden last week and they came in the mail this week. They are precious!! I don't have any winter newborn outfits so I'm going to have to get a few to get us through the first two months or so. After he gets out of the newborn stage I think the seasons will work out for him to be able to wear Campbell and Bennett's clothes. I'm not complaining that I need to get him some stuff! Baby clothes are my weakness.

Favorite Moment This Week: I think getting one of his little outfits from Boden (above) may have been a highlight this week. It's just so, so adorable. A keep forever kind of outfit.

Looking Forward To: Figuring out a name for this little guy. I literally like zero names. Scott spent a few hours over the weekend searching and I vetoed every name he threw out there. I feel like Campbell and Bennett's names go really well together so I want something that will be similar to theirs. I have exhausted myself looking into names so I literally don't even look anymore. I've just prayed that the Lord will reveal a name to me. I had both of my boys names picked out at this point so it's a little stressful that we can't figure it out. I know I still have time but considering how hard this is for us, it honestly worries me.
