My Home Office

I thought I'd share my little office space since I've never shared it on here before. It's isn't much but it's absolutely perfect because it's exactly what I need!! When we were building our home, this was maybe the thing I was excited about the most.

I spend a lot of time on my computer blogging and editing photos so it's so nice to be able to have my own special space to be able to do all of that. The best thing about this room is that it's inside of our playroom. To the right of the wall (in the photo above) is the entrance to our playroom. There's a small hallway before you enter the playroom so this room is the first thing you see to the right. To the left of the wall is the playroom. So I can be with the boys while they play but also be tucked away in my own little space and have a chance to work. It truly couldn't be more perfect for our stage of life. This was Scott's idea and I was seriously so giddy about it while we were building. Before we moved, I would usually have to wait to get any work done until after the boys went to bed because our office was downstairs and the playroom was upstairs. Therefore, so many late nights. Now I'm able to utilize my time so much better and squeeze in 30 minutes of work here and there throughout the day.

I also love my gallery wall full of some of my favorite images. It makes me happy to look at them. I've got my very favorite photo of my Holly girl right in the center (the black and white photo) and the rest of my family surrounding her. All of the images spark joy and are full of memories. I honestly wish I could have squeezed more frames in here because, as I'm sure you have already realized by now, I love photographs.
So there it is! My home office. My own little space. I love it!!
