Back To Worship

 Yesterday felt like a big day for 2020--for the first time in six months we were able to go back to church! 

I can't even tell you how nice it felt to have our normal Sunday back. It has been way too long since we stepped foot inside our church doors. I felt a wave of tears fill my eyes once the music started. I'm thankful for all of the effort put into digital services but nothing can compare to gathering with others to worship. It's a little different for now because they don't have childcare so the boys joined us. Campbell and Bennett colored and Wells lasted about 30 minutes until Scott and I had to take turns with him out in the foyer. But that's okay. I'll take it. We will go and continue to go, childcare or not. 

Life very slowly is beginning to feel somewhat normal again. The boys are back in school and I love the routine that brings to our lives. Now we have church. I'm just so thankful. I will never again take for granted being able to gather with others to worship.
