Depth of Field

We had a nice weekend. We decided to head to Little Rock early Friday morning to spend the weekend with my parents. We didn't do much but it was nice to unplug and chill. As soon as we got there Wells wanted to hop in the pool. He pitched the worlds biggest toddler fit that we wouldn't let him get in with his clothes on. The first little meltdown he's had in his life and it was epic. We heated the pool up and he finally got to enjoy it the next day which made him SO happy!!

It was a little chilly over the weekend but thankfully the sun was shining bright on Saturday. The boys swam and I laid out while I read my book. Very peaceful! Saturday night Scott and I went on a date night to our Little Rock go-to, YaYa's. We love their bruschetta and I especially love their sangria!! So yummy.
It felt nice to get away and it was unexpected since we didn't learn about Campbell's Fall Break until a few weeks ago. A change of scenery is always nice and much needed for everyone, including Ivy and Madison! Now the next four weeks I will be full blown busy with fall family sessions. Tomorrow will be my last day in four weeks where I won't be sitting in front of my computer editing photos so I am going to try to spend that time wisely!!
This is my favorite time of the year to take photos (well, and Christmas too) so I keep trying to sneak in quick snaps here and there of my kiddos. I have this fall field in my back yard which is very helpful when I need an easy location to get to. Ha! This little nugget is soooo busy and I didn't even schedule family photos for my own family because of how busy he is. I know it would end up being a sweat fest so I just didn't bother. I'll try to figure something out because I'd love to get just one image of all of us together so maybe the tri-pod (LOL I don't know why I always get my hopes up that, that will work) or maybe Pops can help us out. We'll find a way....maybe!
