I took this photo of Campbell last week when he turned 37 weeks old. He spent 37 weeks in my belly and here he is, 37 weeks out of my belly. It's kind of crazy when you think about it that way! Or it is to me at least.
These two nuggets are a mess. I wrote a post last week about their Christmas presents under the tree and they didn't stay under the tree for very long! They decided to tear into their presents and have enjoyed playing with their new toys so much. I was out of the house on Monday running a few errands while Scott was home with the babies. Scott gave Campbell a cookie to eat while he was sitting on the floor and apparently Madison took it right out of Campbell's hand and it made him cry. Haha. They love getting bites of Campbell's food that he drops. Unfortunately for them, he's getting better at feeding himself so not much food ends up on the floor anymore.
I can't believe Christmas is only 1 week away. I'm so looking forward to it this year!

Be Merry
I can't believe Christmas is only 9 days away! I've really enjoyed this holiday season. It's been much less stressful this year for some reason. I've enjoyed watching Christmas movies, putting my peanut in Christmas pajamas (he has a ton of them!) reading Christmas books and listening to Christmas music. I even enjoyed the Mickey Mouse version of a Christmas Carol on TV the other day. I caught myself getting really invested in it and chuckled when I realized I was just as captivated as Campbell. I'll be sad when the holidays are over.
On Saturday we went to an ugly sweater party and I had so. much. fun! Would you believe it's the first ugly sweater party I've ever been to? I thought my shirt was pretty awesome and Scott's sweater vest was so terribly perfect. Can you believe people actually wore/wear these things? I made a bow for my hair at the last minute using some of my favorite ribbon that I wrap my Christmas packages with. I felt like it gave my outfit some extra pizazz.
I took Campbell to the doctor last Thursday to get a flu shot. They weighed him and he weighed 15 pounds, 13.5 ounces. That's over a pound in less than a month (average is 1 pound a month) which was a little surprising but kind of exciting! My little peanut is now in the 4th percentile. Woo Hoo! I had a feeling he would have a big growth spurt eventually. Looks like he's finally starting to play catch up.

Holly & Jolly
I am so thrilled to report that Campbell didn't cry a single tear while he was in the church nursery yesterday! Yay!!!
It's only the second time he's been okay and the first time was a long time ago so this felt like a big win. I snuck out halfway through the service to peek through the window and check on him and he was sitting in someone's lap, perfectly content, and eating some puffs. Haha! When we picked him up he was totally okay and didn't even start crying when he saw me--which was also a win. They said he did so great (Campbell is definitely known as the crier at Fellowship) and Scott and I were just so relieved. The church service yesterday was so beautiful with mostly Christmas worship so all around it ended up being a wonderful day yesterday!
You know how I'm all about trying to come up with holiday family traditions and I decided one thing we can do every year is go to Barnes and Noble and pick out a few Christmas books. They have so many to choose from and I feel like a kid in a candy store because I want them all!!!! This year Campbell picked out T'was The Night Before Christmas and The Christmas Story. It's been so much fun reading them. It really puts us in the holiday spirit!
We took this picture of Campbell on Saturday morning and I love it. How is this even possible that my baby is standing? It's so crazy to me to watch him do it. I'm so loving this stage that he's in right now. I just want to bottle him up and keep him this way forever.

Home Tour | Christmas Decorations
I love decorating my house for Christmas. I enjoy being able to stare at my mantle and tree while I'm sitting on my sofa watching television. I love starring at the ornaments on my tree--some of which I've had since I was a little girl (my Mom used to give me an ornament for Christmas every year). I love taking the time to wrap presents in pretty wrapping paper and tying them up with beautiful bows. Christmas is fun and magical and I enjoy bringing some of the magic into my house. A lot of my Christmas decorations are the same year after year but I always try to mix it up a little bit. This year, I decided to be really colorful and it may be my favorite to date.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my Christmas home tour! I look forward to seeing you again next year. Merry Christmas!
