Scott and I had a really great weekend! His friend Michael got married and a bunch of his closest friends flew in town for the wedding. I feel sad for Scott because most of his friends live so far away so he's always really happy when he gets to see them. His best friend, James, came over to our house on Thursday night and we hung out until the wee hours of the morning. It's always really great to see James. I have to brag on him for a minute. He's without a doubt the smartest person I've ever known and probably ever will know in my life. He's literally a rocket scientist. No joke. Even though he's ridiculously smart he's not weird or hard to talk to or awkwardly social like most smart people. Those people bug big time. I introduced James to words with friends and we've been playing each other. Scott was like 'I'm not trying to hurt your feelings but he's going to kick your butt.' I was already very aware of that. Want to know what word he just played me today? Buteos. I don't even know what that is or means. What is buteos? I play words like sit and hat. Except I'm trying extra hard on this one because I can't let him beat me by that much!!! So wish me luck because I'm totally going to need it.
Friday Scott and I went to his Dad's for a nice dinner. I had to work Saturday (boo) then we drove to Ft. Smith that night for Michael and Jen's wedding. It was a whole lotta fun! Great music, great food, open bar....what else do you need? The ceremony lasted maybe 10 minutes. It was like, walk down the isle, vows, rings, kiss, done. Bam. Knocked it out. Haha! Jen looked beautiful and I enjoyed celebrating their wedding day with them!
