Happy Monday! I hope everybody's weekend was grand. Mine wasn't too eventful. Scott and I had a casual dinner Friday night on the patio at On The Border then we came home and watched a movie. Saturday afternoon I did a little garden/outdoor living space shopping with Scott. While out and about I came across a bicycle that I've decided I cannot live without. I've wanted a mountain bike for a good two years or so. I think it would be so nice to have it as a different way of exercising when I just don't feel like running. Plus, what better time then spring to get one right? I've looked into bikes many times, even trying to take my father-in-laws hand-me-down (too tall for me). I've never gone through with purchasing one because they can be pretty expensive. HOWEVER, I saw one Saturday for a craaazzzyyy good price (I mean, the thing was pratically free!) and I was like OMG!!! There she is....she belongs with me! So why didn't I get it? The husband wouldn't let me! I'm not gonna lie it has not settled well with me. I feel like a little kid who wants a bicycle but daddy won't buy it for me. No worries though, I will win this battle.
Today I went back to my old stomping grounds and worked the desk at my former salon. Cathy texted me this morning needing someone last minute and since I really had nothing to do, I was excited to tell her yes! It was great getting to see everyone and catch up.
Now I'm waiting on Scott to get home from work and grill me a ribeye! I never eat red meat but I've been very manly lately and always want a steak these days. I decided to be extra naughty and buy baked potatoes to go with it. Funny thing is, I was unsure how long to bake it and at what temperature. So I had to ask my Mom. Can you believe I've never made a baked potato before!!??
Alright, better get my meal prepped. Enjoy your night!
