Baking

I spent my day yesterday baking up a storm! I was in the mood for some reason. I tackled what I call Kappa Spinach Dip first. My friend and fellow KKG sister, Hannah, got it from our cook, MaryAnne, and recently posted the recipe on her blog. It is such a yummy spinach dip recipe. I used to LOVE eating it and I'm so glad I have the recipe for it now. It was so easy to make.

--10oz of spinach, thawed and drained (pat with paper)
--1 can of Rotel
--8oz of cream cheese
--8oz Monterey Jack Cheese shredded
--1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Shredded
--1/4 cup chopped purple onion
--Cumin to taste
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
So easy and so delicious!

Then I baked peanut butter and Heath Bar cookies. I got the recipe off the back of the Heath Bar bits package. I believe that was the first time I've ever made cookies from scratch. Even more sad, I got to use my nice beaters for the first time--you know, the ones that I got for a wedding gift--3 years ago. They worked so well! I enjoyed baking the cookies. It took a long time though! I didn't have anything else to do so it was fun. However we have like 50 cookies now and I have no idea what to do with them!!

And this was my little helper for the day. She supervised and taste tested for me. She approved!
