I've always liked July.

I know!!! I was horrible blogging during June. It's a new month and I'm promising myself I'll be better for July. It's kind of hard to come up with topics to blog about because I've basically lived at the pool the last 5 weeks and the only thing to say about that is 1.) my new summer love is Jose Cuervo Light Margarita and 2.) my skin is so used to the sun I don't really even need sunscreen to protect it anymore. Life is just really stressful right now.....
As you all know for me summer = pool + neighbors so I've been spending a lot of time with my Hyde Park buds. It's not unusual to have to flip on the pool lights because we're still there once the sun sets. I lurve it. I love my neighborhood. Have I mentioned that before?

Speaking of my neighborhood, I decided to be patriotic and get this cute little flag for my front door. I found it at Hobby Lobby and think it's so cute!!

Speaking of cute, these 3 little nuggets are doing good! They got their hair cut last Tuesday and I always love their fresh little hair style! I took them for a walk today since the weather is so nice and, as always, they loved it. I kept them out for a long time and when we finally reached my house all three of them turned on the sidewalk that led to my front door. It made me so proud that they know where our house is!

We played outside for a long time yesterday. I had Scott snap this photo of Madison because this is so typical with her. She may weigh just over 6 pounds but this little one is ridiculously tough. She loves to play with toys but will not let go of it when you try to take it away from her. Whenever we have guests over she asks them to play with her and they're always so gentle and delicate then are immediately impressed with how strong she is. I'm never rough with her (even if she is strong) because she's so tiny and could get hurt but I had to snap this pic real quick to show you all how buff my 6 pound baby is. She's a mess!
