I love your blog... I just found it and have been reading it like a crazy person. Your little family seems so sweet. I have 4 kids of my own and I love to see new mom's exploring and learning and sharing their own experiences. I'm not usually a meddler, but there are some things that I've been reading in your posts that have really been weighing on my heart. I am not sure if you were aware, but I thought you should know that the American Pediatric Association recommends that children under 2 should have NO screen time at all. The first 2 years of life are a critical time for brain development. Spending time in front of a screen can get in the way of exploring, playing, and interacting with grown-ups and their tiny peers — all of which encourage learning and healthy physical and social development. I know I don't know you and you don't know me, but I worry for your little one and his development. So please consider taking away the iPad, for at least the next couple of years and enjoy him while he's still sweet and young.
