9 (and a half) month checkup

Happy Monday folks! I hope your week is off to a great start. We kicked off our week by taking Campbell to the doctor for his 9 month checkup. Campbell weighs 16 pounds, 6 ounces (4%) and is 28 inches tall (24%). He had a great checkup and seems to be right on track! We'll just overlook the fact that he isn't crawling yet. It's possible that I have slight anxiety that he has failed to reach that little milestone but Dr. Harvey doesn't think Campbell will ever crawl. He thinks I should give up on the crawling and work on walking instead. M'kay then. I guess I'm over it. The little peanut prefers to roll all over the place to get where he wants to be. And he loves to stand. Standing is his favorite. I guess he's just not going to crawl. Insert sad face. Not many things are cuter than a crawling baby. Sigh....
Now that we're back from our checkup, we're going to spend the rest of the day lounging in our comfy clothes and staying warm inside. It's frigid out there today!
Last night I made a little baby comparison collage. Who do we think Campbell looks like?

  1. Wow. Yesterday I was thinking he looked like Scott but I think he looks like you in this comparison.

    1. Yeah. He has Scott's head shape so I think that's why people think he favors Scott but I think he looks the most like me. Sometimes though, I wonder where he came from! I guess he's just a good mix of the both of us!

  2. I think he's a Luttrell, for sure!! And try not to get caught up in milestones. Brooklyn was SO FAR behind in every single one of hers that they tried to make me do developmental therapy for her. She didn't crawl until 10.5 months (and it was an army crawl), and didn't walk until 14-15mo. EVERY baby is different. Just enjoy his sweet self!!!

    1. I almost texted you today to ask you when your girls started crawling. He's easier than he used to be but still not at all what I would consider an easy baby. I just know when he gets mobil he'll be more content/easier/happier. He doesn't even get up on all fours and rock. I definitely predict he'll be more like 14 months before he walks. And yeah, the doctor mentioned those physical therapy classes to me today if we don't have any pulling up/sitting up from a laying position/crawling by his first birthday. I can already invision is being there. (Instert big eye emoji)
