Doggies

I spent my day yesterday finishing up planting flowers on my back patio. Campbell went with me to Lowe's to pick up a few plants and while he napped I put my green thumb to work. It looks so pretty now! I know I talk about it a lot but I find gardening to be so fun and rewarding.

I finally managed to get a picture of Campbell standing up all by himself. He looks like such a big boy. He's getting more and more confident standing alone but only for a short amount of time. I've been totally okay with him not walking yet but now I'm getting anxious for him to get moving. He's such a wiggle worm and doesn't want to be held or sit still anymore so when we go out somewhere it's becoming a problem. I don't want him crawling on the gross floor and getting dirty but he pitches a little toddler fit if I try to hold him. Whenever we go anywhere that has a shopping cart I let him hold onto the cart and walk which, as you can imagine, slows things down a lot. We'll get there one day and hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. Campbell just never seems to be in any hurry to move to the next step. It's just not his personality. He must get it from his non-competitive Momma. 

This picture tickles me because my tiny little peanut actually looks a little chunky in this photo! These are Campbell's new pj's and I am soooo obsessed with them. Kickee Pants released their final summer collection of the year about a week ago and when I saw this print I knew I just had to have it. It has two different dogs on it and they seriously look just like Madison and Ivy. How could I resist? I'll probably keep these forever.
