First Friday Fun

We had a nice weekend! On Friday night we checked out First Friday on the Bentonville square with some of our friends. We all ate dinner at Flying Fish first before bumping into nearly everyone we knew as we walked around checking everything out. It was fun! Campbell had his first taste of french fries at dinner and it seems that he is just as obsessed with them as his momma! We were out pretty late but Campbell was having so much fun that he didn't even notice. We got home and immediately put Campbell to bed and called it an early night ourselves. Our First Friday experience was a blast! We will definitely be doing it again next month.
We spent our Saturday working in our yard and getting it ready for spring/summer. It was exhausting! We were hoping to get to our backyard too but we were so worn out from getting the front done that we had to quit. I also didn't get to plant the tree that I was hoping to plant because we couldn't find one that we liked. Bummer. By the end of the day my back was killing me because apparently I'm old and can't bend over to plant flowers like I used to. I love lining my front bed with flowers every year but the older I get the harder it gets! I'm only 29 for pete's sake but you'd think I was 79 the way I struggle. I decided to be smart this time and plant begonias since they come back every year. The older I get and the more aware I am about flowers/gardening, the more I'm learning that planting things that come back year after year is totally the way to go.
Yesterday we went to church then had lunch with Scott's mom at Slims. After lunch we went to Dilly Dally's to play with toys and Campbell's Grandma JoJo bought him a fun new truck that he kept wanting to play with while we were there. We love Dilly Dally's!
We ended our weekend with an hour long walk around our neighborhood with Campbell and the girls. Scott and I are trying to get in the habit of going for a  long walk every night while the weather is nice. It feels so good to be outside and it's great exercise. Pushing Campbell + the girls in the stroller is hard and feels like a pretty good workout! It's a fun family activity we can all do together and I enjoy it very much!
