Sunshine

Happy Sunny Tuesday everyone! The sun has been out and shining this week and I am super excited about it. Campbell and I went to the pool together yesterday and it was so nice. We were in need of a way to change up our day to day life and this was the perfect way to do it.

This is a swimsuit Campbell had last year and this size 0-6 month suit fits my 14 month old much better this summer. I pulled it out of storage because I had a feeling it would fit and it does. Don't you love that? Campbell has a couple of outfits from last year that actually fit him much better this year and I always think it's such a thrill! Campbell had fun at the pool and we hung out for about an hour before he was over it and ready for his nap. A new thing he does is I ask him if he's ready for a nap and he shakes his head yes and says "mmm hmm." I find it super adorable of course.

Has anyone seen this Like Parent App? I got it over the weekend and plugged in these photos and it gave me this result. Haha! I love it. I can't tell you how many people say Campbell looks like a clone of his Daddy and I always find that to be the most bewildering statement. When I did this app and showed it to Scott I was really tickled and he was extra annoyed. He kept trying other photos and it kept giving the same result. Haha! Sorry Scott.

I've been hearing a lot of sad news lately. Some from people I know and some from people I don't know. It's actually brought me to tears a lot the last few days because I am so sad for these families and the tragedies they're going through. It makes me want to squeeze my babies extra tight and be so present and in the moment for everything. I feel lucky for each day that I get with all of my people that I love so dearly.
