It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

We had a fun weekend! On Friday night Scott and I attended an ugly sweater party that our neighbors throw every year. We always have a lot of fun!! It's the first time we've ever had a babysitter put Campbell to bed. I usually wait to go anywhere until after Campbell's asleep (unless grandparents are watching of course) but we didn't want to wait until 7:30-8:00 to go to the party so we decided to just let our babysitter put him to bed. It's not like it's a big deal or anything but we just haven't done it yet. Campbell did great--didn't cry--and the girl who watched him said she couldn't believe how easy it was to put him down! When I say all you have to do it lay him in his crib and cover him up with his blanket and he'll go to sleep right away, I mean it :)
We had a super lazy day on Saturday. We didn't leave the house all day long. We did still have fun though! Campbell baked Christmas cookies for the first time and he loved it. I'll share some photos on Wednesday. We may have to bake some Christmas cookies a few more times, especially on days when we have nothing to do. It was great entertainment!!
Our church service on Sunday was so beautiful. The JBU choir came to sing Christmas songs and it was so nice! There wasn't really any speaking, just some readings from the Bible, but the music was so beautiful and it put me in the Christmas spirit even more!!
We had to get some pictures of our sweet boy in front of the big, big tree at our church. He was impressed with how big it was and I was impressed with how beautiful it was decorated! I always love church but I especially love it during Christmas. Christmas carols give me the warm fuzzies.
