28 Weeks

Size of Baby: 2 1/4 pounds and 14 inches long, about the size of an eggplant.

How I'm Feeling: I've had a rough week. We had a little scare on Monday that sent us to the ER. Once we got there, they hooked me up to monitor Bennett. I wasn't having any contractions and he looked great so after a few hours they sent us home. I'll be living in paranoia and grateful for every week that passes now. Thankfully I wasn't officially put on bed rest. I was worried I might be. To top it off, I woke up with the worst case of either food poisoning or a 24 hour stomach bug yesterday morning. I was nauseous all day long and couldn't even manage to keep a drop of liquid down. I woke up this morning feeling pretty good so I think it's passed. Overall, not the best week.

Cravings/Appetite: I'm a little hungry since I didn't eat anything yesterday. I woke up famished at 6 am and popped out of bed to make some cinnamon rolls, my pregnancy craving favorite.

Clothes: I've looked at the 15 day weather forecast and it looks like it's going to be nice and warm for the foreseeable future. I'm hoping this means comfy dresses from here on out. That maternity panel on my jeans is about to suffocate me.

Movement: Bennett has been giving me a lot of movements this week which I'm grateful for. He knows his Momma is a worrier and needed some constant, strong movements from him to give me a peace of mind.

Changes in Me: I already have so much pressure really low which is so crazy because I didn't feel that way with Campbell until the very, very end. I've been taking it easy this week and it's amazing how much better it makes me feel. I really need to do that more but it's so hard!

Baby Purchases: I got the sweetest little Jellycat bunny this week. His ears stick straight up so I couldn't resist him.

Favorite Moment This Week: Our glider came in this week which happened a few weeks sooner than I thought it would! I wanted a new glider for Bennett because I still use Campbell's every single day and night and don't see that changing any time soon. I'm really pleased with how it turned out (it's always scary picking the colors from a tiny fabric swatch!!) and it's very comfortable which is good since I anticipate spending many, many hours in it.

Looking Forward To: A new week. This one was rough. I think it's time to hit the restart button and try again.

    1. Ugh it was awful! And Scott had a meeting so I had to take care of Campbell for about 4 hours before he could come home and rescue me. Terrible!!!!
