Feels Like Fall

Today was the first day that it has felt like fall here in Northwest Arkansas. It was so nice! We wore fall clothes and kept our heat on. I got up and moving this morning (it's rare usually) because I needed to go to Walmart to get groceries for homemade enchiladas to make for dinner tonight. I think it took me a whole hour to make it through the store and get everything I needed. Grocery shopping with both kids is something I try to avoid doing to the best of my ability. I should have planned ahead so I could do the Walmart grocery pick-up. Next time.
I did manage to get both boys down for their nap at the same time today. I love when that happens!! During that time I got so much done, including getting dinner made. I have learned that if you have alone time to get it done then you might as well take advantage even if it means getting started at 1:00 PM. Bennett woke up from his nap before Campbell did and Scott was home working so I wrapped my little guy up and we went for a quick walk around the neighborhood.
My parents and niece are here for the weekend. We have a birthday party to go to then the rest of our weekend will be a free for all. I'm sure we'll do something fun tomorrow for Campbell and Avery. They're so cute and we all get so much entertainment out of simply watching them play together.
I washed the girls bed today (my washer has a 'pet beds' setting....how cool is that?) and as soon as I pulled it out of the dryer they ran and hopped in. They LOVE a clean, warm bed. Can't say I blame them!!
