Cheers to the weekend. I feel overworked these days. Ha! I tell myself every night that I'm going to just relax and I never do but tonight I REALLY am. Scott is working a lot so I feel like I should just work too. My work is all kinds of things....blogging, photography, Monat, laundry, dishes....you know, all the things. However, tonight I am planning on pouring myself a glass of wine and watching Fantom Thread in my theater room. Scott will be working (of course) but I'm taking the night off. Has anyone seen this movie? It looks really good to me and I've been wanting to watch it for a while. Scott is really busy with work right now plus he's trying to get a lot done before we leave for Disney next week!(!!!!) We both are going to need this vacation, er, trip. Trip with kids, vacation without kids, correct?

Yesterday, after I picked the boys up from school, we decided to go to downtown Bentonville. It was so nice outside and we didn't have anything else to do so walking around seemed like a good idea. And it was. It made me crave the farmers market and a date night with Scott. Need to put both of those things on the to-do list. Honestly, I can't remember the last time Scott and I had date night. It's definitely been since before we moved into the new house so two months but most likely probably closer to 4. Yikes. I'm pretty sure we take less date nights than any other couple I know. If you think you can beat me leave a comment. ;)

I got the boys these American Flag natives earlier this week. It was one of those "probably shouldn't but I am" buys and after they wore them today it turned into a "definitely a good idea I got these." They are SO cute and everyone stopped us to comment on them. The boys love them and they're so fun for summer. I absolutely love anything patriotic though. I love patriotic outfits, décor and food. Ha! It just feels like summer and American flags go hand in hand, don't you think? I'm feeling the need to go to Pottery Barn and get some stuff for my house now.....
