I wanted to share my house at Christmas time with you guys today! We decided to get new Christmas décor this year for our new house. We needed a bigger tree and decided to just go with an all new "theme" while we were at it. It may seem silly but I've been thinking since last year how I wanted to decorate my new house for Christmas. I have always loved the woodland, outdoorsy, buffalo plaid look so that's what I decided to do. I feel like it's especially good for a house full of boys. Campbell and Bennett prefer their colorful, fun tree in the playroom right now but as they get older I think they'll like the look of what we have going on downstairs. I'll share the playroom tree later but for now, here is our house at Christmas.
All of my home furniture is from Bassett. The tree and everything I got for the tree is from Hobby Lobby. The stockings are from Pottery Barn. I'm planning to monogram them next year once we have all of our stockings and our family is complete! The pillows are also from Pottery Barn. I put real garland on my mantel and I absolutely love it. I've never done real garland before and I'll never, not do it again! I went to my local nursery to pick some up and it was only $2 a foot! I couldn't believe how cheap it was and it looks so beautiful. Next year I'll find places to put more of it around because that's how much I love it. I found the fun plaid house (it lights up too!) at a local store and I love it. Just a fun little extra something. Merry Christmas!
