Winter Soccer

We had a fun weekend with the boys. Campbell and Bennett started a winter soccer league so Saturday was full of soccer practices and games. The soccer league we're in has a new indoor facility but construction completion is still a couple short weeks away so for now we are playing outdoors. Thankfully this past Saturday wasn't very cold and I'm hoping the next two are the same! I was kind of dreading taking Wells but he did really good and watched Mickey on my phone the whole time. Campbell is on the same team as two of his kindergarten classmates which is so fun! I enjoyed getting to visit with their mommas during the game. 

Bennett is SO thrilled to be playing soccer. He played this summer and loved it. He loves wearing the uniform just as much as he does playing the game. It's fun having boys in sports. Baseball is still my favorite sport we have done thus far and I'm crossing my fingers that they have a spring league. It's been a whole year since Campbell has played thanks to Covid and he really loved playing it so he's missing baseball. Campbell plays soccer on the school playground almost every day though and he really enjoys soccer too. I'm just thankful for the opportunity to play sports and some semblance of normalcy!!!!

Wells is going to want to get involved in all of these sports way sooner than his brothers did. Meanwhile, he just gets to be my little baby doll that I get to play with and dress up however I want. Haha! Christmas clothes are my favorite. I wish the month was longer so I could enjoy these cute outfits longer! We are wearing all the tartan and fa la la la-ing everywhere we go. Christmas time really is the most wonderful time of the year, isn't it?!
