We had such a fun day on Saturday celebrating Bennett! The weather was fantastic and made for a perfect day. Bennett has been SO excited about his birthday party and has been asking for months now "is it my birthday party tomorrow?" Birthday parties are a really big deal to Bennett so we couldn't resist throwing our sweet boy a big bash for his big 5th birthday!
Bennett wanted to have a ninja party so a ninja party it was. We ordered a super cool inflatable that was like an American Ninja Warrior obstacle course and the kids LOVED it. It was massive and took up the length of our backyard and the kids played on it over and over and over.I thought Bennett's cake turned out super cute and I was so pleased. Then 10 minutes before the party Bennett said "hey that's not how you spell my name." Agh! I didn't even notice they spelled it wrong. Fail. Oh well. The party was in the afternoon but we still wanted to serve some light finger foods and went with Taziki's catering and it was so yummy. We have leftovers and I'm not at all sad about it.
Bennett had so many of his sweet little friends show up for him. He has a whole new set of friends that he's met at school this year and they are all just precious. It was so fun seeing his friends, new and old, all together and it made me so happy that so many of them were excited to celebrate him!! Bennett loves his friends.
Of course Campbell and Wells were excited to celebrate their brother too. They all three had a great day. And this might be my new favorite photo of these three sweet boys!Sweet Bennett, we are so happy for you that you got to have your big birthday party with all of your closest friends. It made us so joyful to see you enjoying your special day. It was a great day and we all made great memories. We love you Ninja Kid!
