I have been exhausted all day long. I worked out this morning before work which never goes over well for me. I zap myself and I'm useless for the rest of the day. But my physique class is on Thursday mornings so I have to workout early on Thursdays. I did a new cardio which is why I'm ridiculously exhausted.
So last night I asked MaryAlice (dictator) what I could do for a new cardio workout. I told her I'm going to the beach in 2 weeks and would really love to lose a few more pounds but my body is getting conditioned to my cardio workouts so I'm at a standstill with the weight loss. Which on a side note don't you think it's so ridiculous that your body gets used to your workouts and eventually it stops responding to it. Why can't it be that way with hamburgers, pizza, and ice cream? Why can't your body get conditioned to you eating that kind of stuff and eventually you stop gaining weight from it? Not cool. I mean, if I'm gonna run on an elliptical for an hour then I'm sorry I need to always be rewarded for that no matter what.
ANYWAYS, she informed me of a workout she has people do to take those last few stubborn pounds off. So I did it today and for a whole hour after I was done I thought I was going to throw up. Which she told me would happen if I did it correctly. My body was like AHHHH!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME. I definitely shocked my insides. Wanna hear my new workout? I'll share my secret.
So she had me get on the treadmill for 30 minutes....and for the first minute jog, 2nd minute jog faster, 3rd minute run as fast as your little legs will allow you. Then repeat....for 30 minutes. When she told me about it I was like oh that'll be fine...I'm in great cardio shape. O.M.G. The first time when I ran on 9.0 speed I thought I was going to be that person from America's Funniest Home Videos where my feet can't keep up on the treadmill and I go falling off. It kinda scared me a little. And after just an hour after I was done my legs were already sore and I was so hungry I almost ate my fingers. I've been tired and hungry all day long. All day. All day long people. So I decided I'm going to have to do that workout later in the day cause this body can't handle it in the morning. It's like sprints on steroids.
Time for shows.
