When I woke up this morning I had a feeling it was going to be a great day. Turns out I was right!! It started by me waking up from a dream about my honeymoon resort, Jade Mountain. It was a great dream! Then the whole time I was getting dressed I decided Scott and I just have to go back there within the next few years. THEN, my brother told me today that he was reading a travel magazine in the airport and it named Jade Mountain the number 1 hotel in the world!!!! On the travel channel they name it the number 1 resort in the Caribbean. I get excited when I see it. It's recorded on my DVR cause I'm cheesy like that. So that was the start to my day which I must say is a great way to start.
Then I got to work and got my check and it was not too shabby. I'm getting so much busier which is such a great blessing. It makes me excited and motivated and really love my job even more than I already do. So that's was exciting moment number 2!!
THEN I received a text from Scott telling me he got a promotion at work today!!!!!!!!!! It totally came out of nowhere. He's been at his job for only 9 months and he's already been promoted?? How does that happen? Oh yeah that's right it's because my husband is an insane work horse. Ya'll hear me say it all the time. His hard work has paid off! His official title is Category Insights Manager. Yes I said manager. We are ecstatic!! A very exciting bonus with this job is a company car!! Scott's getting his car tomorrow!!! No more insurance, gas, or maintenance bills to worry about. That's all on sweet Mrs Sara Lee! I had a grin on my face all day long. I'm SO SO SO SO SO proud of Scott. He works incredibly hard. Crap he works all day long. He got home from work at 8 today, took an hour break while we cooked/ate dinner and now he's sitting next to me on his laptop working. He deserves this. He EARNED this. He makes me so proud. I'm so happy for him. This is such a cool blessing for us that just came from nowhere!!!! What a cool surprise.
So I KNEW it was going to be a great day today.......and I was right! :)
