I've been up since 4 AM this morning. We've had a very long layover here in Detroit but the airport here is very nice and since Kyle is so special in airports we've been able to take advantage of the Delta Sky Lounge which is crazy nice by the way. I feel like the luckiest girl in the whole world because just a few short minutes ago I was able to take a shower. If you know me at all, you know how happy that made me. I'm all refreshed and ready to go!
I've got two books to keep me entertained. Ellen's--Seriously I'm Kidding and Rob Lowes--Stories I Only Tell My Friends. Plus 3 magazines--Lucky, People, and Us. And 4 movies provided by Delta. Hopefully those will keep me entertained! I'm crossing my fingers that I can get some good sleep as well. I managed to pack a pillow & a blanket PLUS sweatpants, t-shirts, makeup, jewelry, toiletries, socks, undies (TMI?) and a cute little dress in my little carry-on. Rock Star Packer? I think so. And just so you know, I find it funny that my checked bag was lighter than my brothers--by 20 pounds!!!!!
M'kay. I better get lined up. I'm kinda dreading this flight but I get all of the free alcohol I want so that makes it a little better. No judging! You would be grateful too if you were confined to a tiny seat for 15 hours. Cheers! I'll try to blog the whole time I'm there to keep you all updated!
