Well we made it home! We were a little nervous about flying into such harsh winter weather here in NWA but thankfully we made it back without any problems. Our car was covered in snow and it took about an hour to drive home and it usually just takes us about 10 minutes. The roads are very slick!
I love, love winter weather. I know a lot of people don't but I just can't get enough of it. As long as I'm not completely stuck or without electricity, I'm a happy girl when snow and ice is present. It looks like I'm going to be trapped indoors for the majority (if not all) of the day. I think I'm going to take this opportunity to do some online Christmas shopping, research baby products and do some things around my house that normally wouldn't get done. And maybe I'll hang with some neighbors in between!
I sure do miss my sweet little girls. They stayed with my parents in Little Rock while we were in Jamaica and with the bad weather here and there I'm not able to get to them. It's been 8 whole days since I've seen them last and I'm so ready to get them back!! Our house is so quiet and uneventful without them here to entertain us. As soon as the roads clear up I'm going to meet my Mom halfway to get them. I know they're happy at their Pops and Gamma's house though. They've been enjoying looking out of the window and watching the little kiddos sled around the neighborhood. Hopefully there will still be plenty of snow for them to play in when they get back home! I know they'll have so much fun and they have new snow coats just waiting to get used!!
