T'was The Weekend Before Christmas

Scott and I spent our weekend finalizing our Christmas shopping for everyone. It was raining on Saturday which kind of put a damper on shopping since our mall is outdoors. However, it wasn't nearly as crowded and we really didn't have to wait in many lines so it kind of worked out for the best! We took a break from shopping and had a delicious Mexican lunch at Mojitos where I left entirely too stuffed from the 3 fajitas I devoured! But not too stuffed to get a snickers caramel apple from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory....my favorite store at the mall.
We came home and I spent the rest of the evening wrapping all of our gifts while watching The Bee Movie (nothing else was on TV and honestly, I think that movie is so cute). Why does it take so long to wrap Christmas presents? I think I spent a little over 2 hours on it. Our Christmas tree now looks extra festive with all of our presents resting under them!
We spent our Sunday at Scott's grandparents house visiting with them and exchanging gifts. After that we came home and I did laundry for the rest of the day. It was a pretty low key weekend but sometimes those are the best kind. I can't believe that Christmas is in just a few days and that we're going to be ringing in a new year in just a little over a week. Just like every year before it, this one has flown by!
