One Week Old

Campbell is one week old today! This week flew by so fast. It feels like we just got home from the hospital with him yesterday. Even though it's been a very exhausting week, it's been the best week ever! I love my little boy more than words could ever say and I find it so rewarding to be his Mommy.

We took Campbell back to the pediatrician today and I'm happy to say his jaundice levels are down and we don't have to keep going back to check on them! Yay!! That kind of really stressed me out. Although I must admit it was nice that we had a reason for leaving the house. Earlier today I told Scott to get ready because I'm taking some time for me this weekend to go get a manicure. I'm already looking forward to it!

We gave Campbell a sponge bath today! We give him one every other day and he's always so good when we do it. I'm using Noodle & Boo body wash and shampoo and I love it! It smells so yummy and it has a pump which makes bathing him so much easier. My Mom picked it up for me at All Thru The House for any of you Little Rock peeps who want to go get some. I highly recommend it!!

I'm happy to report that my new system that I integrated last night went soooo much better! Thanks to my organization, my bedroom wasn't a hot mess and I woke up feeling like a brand new woman by doing the four hour stretch. I fed Campbell at 12:00, 4:00 and 8:00 and we both liked that much better. He didn't even cry when I woke him up to feed him and change his diaper. Even though the doctor told me to do 2-3 hour stretches, I think we're going to have to make the 4 hour stretches our new routine. Scott, Campbell, the girls and I think it works out better for all of us!
