Backyard Landscaping

I got a new tree planted in my yard yesterday and the grown up in me gets insanely excited about things like that.
We added some landscaping to our backyard a few years ago but I knew I always wanted to plant another tree at some point. A home is currently being built next door to us so I felt like this was the perfect opportunity. I went with a tulip poplar mostly because it's super fast growing and good for privacy but also because it turns the most gorgeous shade of yellow in the fall. I think it's the cutest little tree and y'all would laugh if you knew just had giddy it makes me to have this now.
My backyard almost feels complete as far as landscaping goes. I'd still like to add some beds around the sides of my house but one step at a time. Everything is really starting to bloom now and it's looking very pretty and colorful back there!
I've mentioned several times that my backyard/patio is my own little oasis. There isn't really anything special about it but I love it. I dress it up with a lot of flowers and we have speakers outside so we can listen to music and it's so lovely to me. I enjoy it immensely and love having company over when the weather is nice so we can sit outside.
I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time outdoors this weekend. We have a full weekend planned and our neighborhood pool opened today so I'm hoping the weather cooperates. It's supposed to be cold and rainy which makes me sad but maybe it will turn around. We have a crawfish boil tomorrow and I'm turning the big 3-0 on Monday--Memorial Day. All I want for my birthday is to lay at the pool all day long with my best buds. I hope my birthday wish comes true! Y'all enjoy your long weekend!

  10. The term landscape design was first utilized By Frederick Law Olmstead in the late 1800's. Around then there was no particular scholarly control for it so it started to be educated and considered under the tops of the building schools and has been stepped with that outlook.Edwin's company

  13. They are not terribly common, and thus stand out. Kids love them since they are unique and exciting. However, parents must be sure not to let the excitement around these beds overshadow the potential safety risk, and as such, must choose a quality bed. triple bunk bed walmart
