Size of Baby: 3.5 ounces and 4.5 inches long, about the length of an avocado (head to rump).
How I'm Feeling: I feel really good!! Once these terrible headaches go away I'll be golden. I feel like they should stop any day now. I have a lot more energy and I only take naps half the time Campbell does, instead of every time :)
Cravings: Fruit and water. I gobbled down half a carton of strawberries one night this week and any time I give Campbell his fruit I'm always eating on it myself. I always feel dehydrated and I'm thirsty all the time.
Clothes: Still in all of my regular clothes, even some of my smaller, tighter tops. I want to be comfy every day though and just wear yoga clothes. I only have one pair of good yoga pants and I wear them every week. Comfort all the way these days.
Movement: A few times this week I've been able to tell where the baby was in my belly. I would feel this tiny little person in a specific spot. I love that feeling.
Changes in Me: I feel like the growth of my belly has kind of come to a stand still for the last 2 weeks or so. I expect it to really pop again soon. I'm starting to wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom which has to be the most miserable thing ever.
Baby Purchases: I ordered a Christmas present for Campbell on Pottery Barn Kids and while I was browsing I came across this adorable stacker. I decided to throw it in my shopping cart at the last minute. It was just way too cute to pass up!
Favorite Moment This Week: My Kickee Pants that I purchased over Thanksgiving weekend arrived in the mail this week. They're so tiny!! I want to be prepared with more tiny clothes this time. I didn't have any with Campbell and it was so hard trying to run out and find things that fit him those first 4-6 weeks. He didn't have hardly anything to wear and I was doing laundry constantly. I know this baby will probably be a little bigger than Campbell was but I still expect to need some preemie and newborn items. Even if they only get worn for a few weeks, I still want to have them.
Looking Forward To: More movement. I feel like I should start to feel some big kicks soon. I was 18 weeks with Campbell when I felt him moving around a lot and since I know what to expect, I would think I would start feeling this little one's kicks and jabs a little sooner this time.
