Here's my obligatory Election Day selfie with my "I Voted!" sticker!!
Big day for America! I took the boys with me to vote this morning. I always vote on Election Day. I just love the excitement of voting on the actual day. I was very prepared for the long lines. I bought Campbell new Paw Patrol episodes on the iPad so he would be extra captivated and made him a really big snack to ensure he wouldn't get antsy. Bennett is always chill so I knew he'd be fine. When I pulled into the parking lot I noticed there weren't many cars and thankfully I didn't have to wait even 5 minutes. I've always been pretty lucky and have never waited longer than 30-45 minutes to vote. This was my quickest turn around to date! I was glad since I had two babes in tow.
The polls are starting to close now so once the boys are in bed we're going to be glued to the news for the rest of the night. I'm nervous and have no idea how this election outcome is going to go. I guess we'll all know the verdict in a few hours.
I think all Americans feel such a sense of pride when they are in that voting booth. I know I do!! It's such a privilege that is denied to many throughout this world. I'm so proud to be an American. It's the greatest country in the world. And regardless of the outcome, I know all of this is a part of The Lords plan. And knowing that is all I need.
