19 Weeks

I'd like to think I'm over halfway through this pregnancy now. Although honestly, I 100% would not care at all if this baby reached his due date, I just don't think he will. This pregnancy could not possibly be flying by more quickly. We still don't have a name, or even options for a name, and I haven't spent hardly any time looking into how I want to decorate his nursery. I feel like the holidays are going to sneak up on me then I'll panic trying to get everything ready in time!! Meanwhile, I'm just going to continue to chill as if I have all the time in the world to figure all this stuff out. Here's this weeks update!
Size of Baby: 6 inches long and 8.5 ounces. About the size of a zucchini.

How I'm Feeling: Fantastic!! I always say it takes me until about halfway through my pregnancy before I feel good and I knew once fall arrived I would feel better. I was right. I have energy, my stomach isn't hurting, nausea is long gone, my appetite is completely normal, I rarely get headaches and overall just feel like my normal, non-pregnant self. Praise Jesus. You aren't thankful enough for your health until you experience not feeling good,whether it be because of pregnancy or sickness. I'm so thankful to be feeling good.

Cravings/Appetite: I have my normal appetite but I do still eat a little more than I did pre-pregnancy. I'm doing my best to make sure I drink more water than I usually do.
Clothes: I went to the mall yesterday to look for a new pair of jeans. Non maternity jeans. I was able to wear my normal size AND button them but you should have seen the spillage hanging over the jeans. LOL. I obviously left without purchasing any new jeans and decided maybe it's just best to not worry about new jeans this season.

Movement: Getting stronger every week! I used to only be able to feel him move when I laid down at night but now I feel him all throughout the day.

Changes in Me: I officially cannot run anymore. The weight of my belly and pounding of the pavement is just too much. I can manage to go for about a minute before I have to stop and walk again. I've decided to let it go and just go for walks every day now instead. I walk as fast as I can and I've tried to increase my distance but sometimes I don't always have the time to go longer. Our neighborhood clubhouse is supposed to get all of the equipment for the fitness room any day now so I'm planning on starting on the elliptical once I have access to one because I feel like that will be a better workout than simply walking.

Baby Purchases: I did purchase a sweet little Petit Ami smocked preemie romper. It will be perfect for church....if we can manage to make it to church!
Favorite Moment This Week: Finally feeling better.

Looking Forward To: Our anatomy scan on Thursday! I'm excited to see this little baby and get an idea of what he may look like. Bennett had a completely different profile than Campbell and I'm curious to see if this one might look like one of his brothers or have his own look!

  1. You may already know about this, but a pregnant workout buddy of mine uses the pregnant belly support band from Bao Bei maternity... may be something to look into if you do want to still run
