We had a sweet day on Saturday celebrating our little Wells. It was fun that his birthday fell on a Saturday this year. Coming up with a theme for Wells birthday this year was a no brainer. Since he loves his Poor Bear so much, I knew a Hundred Acre Woods party was fitting. It was such a sweet little theme and I had fun putting it all together. The party was super low key this year with just family only but it was the perfect little celebration for our baby boy!
I didn't do much and even though it was a family only party, I still wanted to print invitations because I like having keepsakes like that for my boys baby books!! I found this sweet invitation on Etsy then used it as inspiration for his cake.
I didn't really have a plan for how I wanted to decorate but I knew I'd want some flowers so I grabbed some whimsical looking flowers at Fresh Market, put them in several different glass vases then went from there. Everything else I used were items I already had laying around my house and it all quickly came together. I absolutely adored how it looked. It was so sweet and the perfect little setting for us to gather around!
Wells had a fun day! He didn't know what exactly was going on but he knew the day was just for him and he loved his sweet little Hundred Acre Woods party surrounded by all of the people that he loves the most!
Wells did so good blowing out the candles on his cake! He did not know what to think about everyone singing him Happy Birthday--I think he was a little confused--but he smiled so big when it was time to blow out the candles. It took him a little bit but he finally got it!!
I had the sweetest, most precious outfit made for Wells Pooh party. I have had this outfit planned for him since August. I just laughed at myself for how ridiculous that sounds but it's true. I knew I wanted to have this little design hand stitched on this bubble and that it would be a keep forever piece.
Disregard the multiple outfits. It's a long story. Ha! Thankfully we have two Pooh outfits because we're serious about our Pooh!!
