Blooms, Bags & Books

I have 5 beautiful hydrangea bushes growing on the side of my house. I planted them last year and I'm amazed at how much they've grown in just a year. I decided I should enjoy them inside my house as well as outside so I've been cutting some of the blooms every week and using them as my dining room centerpiece and it makes me very happy.
I got a belated birthday gift from my sweet Momma in the mail yesterday.
How fab is my new bag! I'm so excited. I never buy a new handbag because I am extremely picky about them. I splurge on a nice one and carry it every day until a year and a half or two goes by and I decide I'm tired of looking at it and want a new one. I mentioned to my Mom that I wanted a new bag and low and behold this beauty arrived at my door step yesterday. I'm in love with my new tote. Thanks Mom!!!!!
Also, I don't know why I look like a lobster in this photo. It's true, I have been out in the sun a lot but I'm brown (not red) and already starting to get sad that in just a few short months I'll have to go back to slapping on those Tan Towels again.
I decided when I woke up this morning that I needed a good book to read for the summer. I stumbled upon this one and it was so good I finished the whole thing today. It's so funny and there were many times that I laughed until I cried! Even the acknowledgments in the back made me laugh out loud. I highly recommend it!!
These three got groomed today. Don't they look cute?!
