Crisp Weekend

This weekend we got our first little taste of fall here in Northwest Arkansas and it was so amazing!! It was actually quite chilly on Saturday. I took Campbell for a stroll around the neighborhood Saturday evening and I had to bundle him up. It made me happy. Like everyone else out there, I love me some fall weather!!! I'm ready for it to officially get here and stay here.
The girls are having a little 15 minutes of fame right now. Their '30 Reasons That Dog People Are Completely Crazy' picture is soaring around the web. For those of you who are visiting from that article, Hello! My pup's names are Ivy and Madison and they are Shorkies (Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix). Ivy and Madison enjoy being outside, eating bones and, of course, playing with toys!! They're my babies and are completely spoiled rotten. :)
Besides the Razorback game and going to church, our weekend didn't consist of much else. It was a pretty lazy one! I took the opportunity to get some organizing done around the house and packed up and stored some of Campbell's clothes that are too small. There were a few outfits that I folded up and put away and I wanted to cry my little eyes out. It was so sad to me that I'll never see Campbell in some of my favorite outfits and pj's again. These pj's in particular nearly did me in. There's something about them that is so special to me. I'll keep them forever.
I was reading Campbell "You Are My I Love You" yesterday. I love that little book. The words are so, so sweet. It is the perfect book for a Momma to read to her baby and the words couldn't be more true. I may have to make it a new tradition to read it to Campbell every day. It can be our special book that only I read to him :)

"...I am your finish line, you are my race. I am your praying hands, you are my saving grace..."
