A Typical October Weekend

What a lovely, crisp weekend we had here in NWA! I'm so loving this colder weather. All week long Scott and I had planned to go tailgate on Saturday. Then we woke up to a downpour so that canceled out our plans. I was kind of bummed. I really want to take Campbell to a tailgate this year. Since we had to cancel our tailgate plans, we went out for lunch to Tazikis and helped my father-in-law pick out some furniture at Bassett.
We came home to watch the game and my friend, Jax, joined us. We ordered a pizza for dinner because that's what we do on game days.
Sunday morning Campbell and I hung out while Scott slept in. Sundays he gets to sleep in since I sleep in on Saturdays. I think we both look forward to our days all week. It's seriously the way to go if you have a baby. I highly recommend it. While Dada slept, Campbell and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast that consisted of eggs, pancakes and strawberries.
After some fun floor time activities (I'm pretty sure I spend all of my time sitting on the floor with Campbell now) and a little Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Campbell went down for a nap and when he woke up it was time for us to head to church!
I love dressing Campbell for church. I always take the opportunity to put him in "sweet" outfits. My Mom got this precious little Ralph Lauren one piece for him and he looked super adorable if I do say so myself. And speaking of sweet, Campbell did wonderfully in the church nursery. I think he felt the need to redeem himself after what happened last time.
A little Homeland and Revenge rounded out our weekend. Scott and I stayed up entirely too late last night so I was super tired today. It's 9:30 and I am all set and ready for bed. I need to catch up on some sleep. Until tomorrow....

  1. I love his little Ralph Lauren outfit!! He makes the best little boy outfits, or he makes my favorites from Mason. I need to call in a new order for him now that he is wearing 2T.
