Dirty Hair

Today is mine and Scott's 3 year dating anniversary! We're usually very celebratory about things like that but we're already starting to become an old married couple. We didn't do a single thing except say 'happy anniversary.' Scott told me we only need to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I disagree. I think we should celebrate every special date we have. He's just trying to get out of spending money on a nice meal and a present. Don't try to fool me!! It's alright. I'll just reminisce while I watch HGTV with extraordinarily dirty hair that hasn't been washed in days.
You know what? My hair is always disgusting. It really bothers my mother. She finds it totally unsanitary. I get it but I mean...come on!!!! I do hair ALL DAY LONG. What makes you think for a second that I care to do another head of hair? I've become very keen on headbands to try to snazz up my greasy messy bun. I used to never go a day without washing my hair. Even in high school I woke up at 6:45 every morning and washed my hair every. single. day. The only way that would happen these days would be if.......hmmm....I really don't know what event could possibly make me do that these days. That's why I avoid a cute haircut. Because I know I would never do anything with it. I always have a rubber band around my wrist and by noon, the hair is back in a messy bun. That's why I just stick to the boring, non-special, long layers do that easily pulls back. I never understand it when people come to me and say 'I want to cut my hair short so I won't have to spend as much time messing with it.' I want to so badly say to them 'you've got that backwards honey. The shorter the do the more you have to mess with it.' But I just do what I'm told.
I think I'm gonna go run a bath in my huge jacuzzi tub....and not wash my hair. I'm working out extremely early tomorrow because I have to take Scott to work since his car is in the shop. Might as well go to the gym early and get it over with. No sense in washing my hair if in about 15 hours it's going to get sweaty and gross right? Right. Okay well, off to my bath then to bed. Night!

Ark vs. LSU

How about that game last night huh? Nail biter. I was extremely disappointed but it was still a great game. Heartbreaking, but great. They played good and LSU still sucks.
Today has been nice. Woke up late, went to church, ate at Red Robin (told you I'm going crazy on the food 'til tomorrow) came home and watched the entire 6th season of Entourage with Scott. Now I'm watching AFV followed by Extreme Makeover-Home Edition, then of course, Housewives. Gonna eat the leftovers one last time then put them down the garbage. Actually Scott is ready to eat them now so I guess I might hop off. Short blog, I know, but I haven't had many thoughts lately. Just not a lot going on in that head of mine. :)
Please say a quick prayer for me. One of my brothers best friends has gone to be with our Heavenly Father. Thomas was an amazing man and someone my brother really looked up to. He was a great spiritual leader for Kyle and was always there when Kyle needed him. Kyle is devestated. Pray for Thomas's family and friends. He leaves behind his wife, Erin, 3 kids and a lot of people who loved him dearly.

Thanksgiving

My Thanksgiving Day was wonderful! I woke up and immediately turned on the parade! I love watching the Macy's parade. I've actually seen it in person but to be honest TV is way better. You just can't have Thanksgiving without the parade being on in my opinion. Scott and I got dressed and headed over to his mom's house. We hung around there until about 3 then headed home. My parents and Kyle drove in from Little Rock and got to my place about 4. Mom and I started cooking and Scott's dad came over around 6. We finally finished with all of our dishes around 7 and had a feast! It was delicious if I do say so myself. My family probably over does it with about a zillion dishes but who cares! It's Thanksgiving. Mom and I woke up early the next day and went for a long walk around my neighborhood then we went shopping!!!
I must say I feel extremely gross. Scott and I have been eating on leftovers and yuck! My stomach is poochy. To make matters worse, we just ordered Razorback pizza. Yum! I figure continue on with the bad eating through the weekend then get back to the gym/eat healthy on Monday.
Who's excited about Arkansas vs. LSU!!! In case you aren't aware you should know that I hate LSU more than any other team that exists. Can't stand em. I hope we kick their butt!! They're pretty good this year so I dunno though. I'm going to think positive!! Scott and I are about to head out to pick up our pizza then at halftime we're going to head over to his friends house to finish watching the game. All of Scott's best friends are in town and he's been spending tons of time with them. I'm sure we'll end up at Eddie's tonight.
I better hop off. I have a hot pizza to get!!!

Thanksgiving Host

Hello my fellow readers. I'm so bored right now. Scott won't be home for a while so what am I gonna do until then? Clean? Hmmm....I need to but I'm just not in the mood. Watch HGTV? Probably. My TV stays on that channel. Ew it's Holmes on Homes. My least fav.
So guess what I'm doing this year. Hosting Thanksgiving. Yeah that's right. I'm not stressed out at all about it. I was born for this! I think I've got all my groceries. Hopefully I don't have to make another trip to Walmart. Can you imagine how busy it will be tomorrow? I have to work tomorrow. Anyone else have to? I feel like Thanksgiving break should start Wednesday and I think for Christmas you should get the 23-2 of January. I feel it would be good for society. No one asked me though.
Hmmm....I'm so boring right now, I'm making myself sleepy. I guess I should hop off. I just turned on Entourage, you know, my new fav! Happy Thanksgiving week!

Movies

Last night Scott and I went to see The Blind Side. Okay....hands down, best movie ever....After Forrest Gump. I don't say that about many movies. This movie was so good I want everyone to go see it!!! I was very excited to see Houston Nutt make a cameo appearance. Even though he's not our coach anymore and I'm apparently supposed to dislike him. Scott was so embarrassed by me when he came on the screen I let out a little 'woohoo!!' He wanted to die. Well I'm sorry I was excited to see him and taken by surprise. A few other people in the theater clapped. Whatever, I'm a good audience when I see a movie leave me alone about it. Anyway you've just got to see this movie! So good. So so good.
Tonight Scott my mother-in-law, and I are going to see The Christmas Carol. I'm very excited about this one. I like to see movies this time of year!
Still on my movie list: New Moon. I know, I know, ya'll are probably surprised I want to see it since reading Twilight bored me to tears but I'm curious to know what happens. I'm almost tempted to read New Moon actually before going to see the movie. I don't have anything to do tomorrow or Tuesday. Maybe I'll get started on it. I have a feeling I'll like it the best even though I hear it's the most boring out of the series. Supposedly because Edward isn't in it very much. I'm just fine with that. You all know I'm not one of those grown adults with a creepy obsession over a fictional character that doesn't seem at all fantastic to me. It weirds me out that 40 year old women have him as their screen saver. Seriously? You're weird.
I do think I might start on the book though. Because once the previews started and I saw Jacob run out of a house and fly into the air and turn into a wolf (you know what part I'm talking about? It's only played on TV every 46 seconds) I was like 'woah wait a minute I thought he was just a little Indian boy I'm so confused.' And that's sparked my curiosity! Just that. Just little Taylor Lautner.
Okay I'm over this now. I need to go anyways. Dinner then A Christmas Carol. Night!
