Leap Day

I saw this on Pinterest today and I think it's so cool!!! The only thing I don't appreciate is that they left Bentonville out. How could you leave the home of Walmart out? Silly. And whadya know, El Dorado is in purple. Perfect coincidence. Look Jake, even Marianna made it on there! Too fun.

Yesterday was a little odd for me. I don't feel like talking about it though. Just writing about it could potentially exhaust me. Needless to say, I fell asleep immediately after I wrote my blog around 9:30 last night and didn't wake up until 6:45 am. I'm sure I'll share all about that crazy day soon. Right now I just don't feel like it.

Since I did wake up so early and very refreshed, I accomplished quite a bit today. I started my day off at the gym. I love working out in the morning and getting it over with for the day. I'd love to do it every day and when I get good sleep I always do. But as you know, good sleep runs few and far between for this girl.
I also washed Holly's little bed today. I wash it every week so it's a fluffy and smells good for her. She loves when it's clean but becomes quite impatient waiting on it to get out of the washer/dryer. She LOVES her bed!
I've got some really fun news to share. No it's not about the email. I decided to wait to share that for Friday (probably). Scott is taking off Tomorrow, Friday, Monday and Tuesday. Yay! I could use a buddy.
It's just 9:20 but I'm sleepy. Maybe I can get on one of those patterns that I'm dying to be on where I go to bed early and wake up early. Happy Leap Year!

Weird Day. Weird Tree

It's been a long and weird day. It's 9:30 and I'm in bed. I can hardly hold my eyes open. Was hoping to deliver a way more interesting post today but I think I may have to cut this one short. I think I'm about to fall asleep as I type!! I just hope I stay asleep until I see daylight tomorrow. Fingers crossed!!

On a totally random note, I saw this tree at Westwood Gardens today and I really, really want it! Ive never seen such a strange and awesome tree like this before. Have you? Too cool. Night!

Anxiously Waiting

How was every one's weekend? Mine was great!! Scott is officially done with his relay at work so he didn't have to open his laptop one time all weekend! It was so nice to just hang out together. We didn't do anything too eventful but just being able to spend quality time together was nice and very needed.
What did everyone think about the Oscars? I thought it was a great show. I was really pulling for Viola Davis to win though. Brad Pitt too. I like to root for the people who've never won before but get nominated a lot. I've not seen The Artist or The Descendents so I can't wait for them to come out on DVD. Scott and I usually don't go to the movies. We typically wait for it to come out on DVD so we can rent it because we really love staying in, curling up on the sofa, and watching a movie. I've decided I'm not capable of giving up Diet Coke for Lent. It's so strange how much I love Diet Cokes because I used to never drink anything but water. I've realized how much I love them in these last 4 years and I just can't stop. I have one a day at lunch and it just tastes so good to me. I am going to try to not have one every day though. It doesn't make sense to give that up for Lent anyways. You're supposed to give up something that distracts you from spending more time with God. That's not really the case with a Diet Coke.
I've been waiting on someone to send me an email all day long. Don't you hate when you're anxiously anticipating something? If you're anything like me, I check my email about every 10 minutes hoping it will pop up. Maybe I'll be able to blog about the contents of that (hopefully exciting) email tomorrow. I was wanting to share it with you guys today but since they haven't emailed me back yet I can't. Boo! It's killing me I tell ya! Until then....

I'm so ready for the weekend. Scott turns in all of his work stuff tomorrow which will officially end the crazy work schedule!! I'm sure he'll have a few tweaks to make to it next week but we should be done with the 80 hour work weeks. Glory Glory!! He's going to work into the wee early hours tonight so he can try to avoid working over the weekend. Hopefully he gets it all done. Fingers crossed!!I've been sleeping really great for about a week now. It's so exciting! I go to bed early, wake up only once for about 30 minutes or so, then fall back asleep and wake up feeling really refreshed early in the morning. I've also been pushing myself really hard with my running to help wear me out.
One thing I have started to notice about myself though is that I have a nightmare almost every single night. Last night I dreamed I was on a plane with terrorists. The night before that I dreamed bad things happened to my whole family. It was so traumatic that I immediately texted my Dad when I woke up to ask him if everyone was okay. I wonder why I do this so often? It's usually what wakes me up in the middle of the night. My heart is pounding and I'm scared and I scootch close to Scott so he'll protect me!! Sometimes I even wake him up to tell him I had a scary a 4 year old. This has been going on for a really, really long time now. I always have this reoccurring dream where I'm back in high school. That in itself is a nightmare but the bad part is I'm always searching for Scott and wondering where he is. I never can find him and the whole dream I'm so stressed out because I want to find Scott so bad. I dream this at least twice a week. Weird right? Does anyone else have nightmares a lot? I wish I knew how to stop having them. Can the food you eat affect your dreams? I have to learn how to fix this. The stress I experience from these dreams is bound to be taking years off my life!! Please help me if you have any advice!

Demanding Diva

Happy hump day! Anyone giving up anything for lent? I've never done that before since I'm not Catholic but I'm sorta considering giving up Diet Coke for lent. I have one with my lunch every day but I'm thinking maybe I should take a break from them?? We'll see. I can't decide yet.

I just tweeted this video but thought I'd share it on here too. This is Holly trying to get my attention and asking for a treat. She is so extreme!! I always say she loves treats more than any dog that's ever lived. She demands them. We keep her treats in a little bag and she knows that's her bag with fun goodies in it. It's kinda dark so in case you can't tell, she's scratching the bag. She also does this to your leg which means 'rub me.' She demands that too. This was the grand prize--A Busy Rollhide. I sometimes like giving her these because she can't actually chew it. It's too tough for her little teeth! She still tries though and it keeps her entertained for a good 30 minutes before she gives up.
She's a little diva sometimes but I love my little girl. She keeps me very entertained. Seriously, have you ever seen a dog demand a treat like that? She does this every. single. night. Sometimes it drives me crazy!!! Because not only is she constantly asking for treats but one treat isn't enough. She thinks they should be abundant. I try to tell her she can't only eat treats. She thinks I'm stupid for thinking that.
Today has been productive. I was up and out of the door by 8:45. I've got a few things to accomplish today. Decided to sport a fishtail braid while tackling those things! Have a great day friends!

Krispy Treats

I had such a great weekend!! Scott didn't open his work computer all day on Saturday! I literally can't remember the last time he didn't crack it open. So we enjoyed each other's company, like a normal couple, on Saturday and it was so lovely! We ate lunch out, ran around town, watched a was heavenly! Yesterday was a typical Sunday. Church, lunch after, Scott worked, I got some errands taken care of, then we watched our Sunday shows. I love Sundays. They seem to be very productive.
Holly is doing good! She's still taking her bladder infection medicine and I've discovered a genius way to hide her little pill--Rice Krispy Treats!! She loves them! The older Holly gets the pickier she is with her food. I've been dealing with it for quite a few months now. That makes it hard when it comes to giving her medicine. Peanut butter used to work great, or cheese, but she turns her nose up to those things now. She never turns down a Rice Krispy Treat so giving her the medicine has been easy. It's just so strange how picky she is with food now. Holly has always loved everything! I used to give her eggs for breakfast and she won't get near them now. She only ate a few bites of my leftover Ruth's Chris filet! Normally she would have gone crazy over it. She hasn't lost any weight and she's still eating her normal dog food but it's so bazaar to see her turning down special, yummy, human food! What dog does that?
I really want to buy a fireproof safe. Just a little one to keep important things in. Anyone else have one of those? I think it's a good idea. I may get one this week.
I really want to have a garage sale too. My neighborhood isn't a very good one for a garage sale though and I don't really have enough stuff to have one. I just really don't like clutter so I'm always getting rid of stuff--especially clothes. I usually take those to Plato's Closet and whatever they don't take I give to Goodwill. I have some furniture that's been sitting in our storage unit for forever that I want to sale. I may have to spend some time on Craig's List this week. I think I'm definitely going to do that.
Well this post was riveting huh? Enjoy your Monday! I hope it's a great day followed by a great week for all of us!

This Is What I Did Today

Today was busy for me. I had to wake up early this morning and take my car down to Acura in Fayetteville to get my oil changed. It took an hour to do and I just stayed at Acura since...well I was forced to. I must say, it is so nice in there. They have a little area for people to wait while their cars get fixed. There's a nice big TV to watch while you lounge in big comfy leather chairs and can enjoy snacks (think vending machine except instead of the machine it's laid out all pretty-like on a fancy tray) while reading the paper or magazines and indulging in coffee, cappuccino, or soft drinks. All for free!! Sitting there a whole hour doesn't even phase me because it's just so nice!
After I left Acura I ran around Fayetteville. I popped in Ulta to get some new skin products. My face is so dry right now. It's never, ever been this dry before. Yesterday Scott asked me what was wrong with my skin. Oh no honey don't worry, I didn't trip on the treadmill and slide all the way down while scabbing up my face like an America's Funniest Home Video. It just did this all on it's own.
I never have skin problems. No breakouts--no nothing. I feel very lucky that I never have troubles with it. But UGH, not this week.
I'm a Dermalogica girl. I have my face wash, day-time cream, night-time cream, and exfoliator and mask that I use 1-3 times a week. Apparently that's not enough for this weather. After consulting with the Dermalogica lady, I will now go back and forth with my current day cream and a new extra hydrating one. Plus, a spritzing toner to use before I moisturize, that should add water to my skin?? or something like that, which apparently I'm majorly lacking in right now. WHEW! That's a lot of facial products. Who am I kidding. I love it. I love products of any kind.
I was gone most of the day which made me feel bad for the little doodlebug. She probably slept the entire time but still. We're battling yet another bladder infection with Holly. Poor thing was just born with a bad bladder. Some of her umbilical cord somehow managed to partly stay attached, don't ask me how, and is lining her bladder. I guess that's why she's always had troubles. I always know when she has one because she starts having accidents around the house. Yesterday she went potty right in front of my bedroom door and the front door. That was her way of saying "Kara, I'm hurting." That's always her way of letting me know. I think a lot of dogs do that so if your dog is potty trained and suddenly starts having accidents it's usually their way of telling you something is wrong.
Anywho, since we're VIP at the Rose Animal Clinic, and since I'm basically a certified veterinarian myself, and since I know my dog so well that when I take her in because I suspect she has something--and my suspected diagnoses is always dead on, (except that one time I thought a pimple was cancer) and since they know that I totally know what I'm doing by now, they let me forgo the check-up and just gave me the meds to give Hol. Thank goodness. Holly hates the doctor. It gives her crazy anxiety. While it's kinda sad that they know us so well because we're in there so often, it's also super nice. Anytime I need something I just call and Amy, the receptionist, answers and I'm like 'hey girl it's Holly's mom. And she's always like 'awwww!!!! How's Holly?" or "awww, is something wrong with Holly?" Haha! One time I randomly walked in just to pick something up and when she was checking me out she goes "okay I feel bad because I know you're Holly's mom but I've forgotten your name."
We're special. Or Holly is. Cutie pie. I love her. She's the sweetest!

Exceed Your Expectations

I saw a little sign that said this the other day and I thought it was such a great little inspirational piece. So I've been trying to do just what it says. We all have those things in life that we need to take care of that we always put off because it's annoying to do. So I've been keeping this little saying in mind and it's really helped me get some things done! One of those things I've been trying to do every morning is make a healthy breakfast. I can tell such a huge difference in my appetite all day if I eat a good breakfast. I'm not as hungry and don't snack at all throughout the day. I personally believe that eggs are the best breakfast one can have. Plain ol' eggs get boring so I try to mix it up. This morning I threw in spinach, tomatoes, and a few bacon bits with my egg whites. I thoroughly enjoy eating a breakfast like this. It's just getting up and making myself cook early in the morning that tends to be the challenge. I'm going to try to let this be one of the things that exceeds my expectations every day! And by the way, if you've never put Tony Cachere's seasoning on your eggs you are missing out on one of life's most beautiful things. I never eat eggs without it.
Another thing I've been trying to do is cook really fresh for Scott and I. All spring/summer we grill practically every day. When it's cold we never grill therefore don't eat quite as healthy and fresh. I'm tired of that so I'm finding creative ways to eat fresh food while cooking indoors.
On another note, Scott only has about 2 weeks left of his relay. You know, that one that's had him working 80 hours a week for 4 1/2 months now. It has been so bad....I can't even tell you. I feel sorry for Scott having to work so much and I feel sorry for me being basically husbandless for 4 months. This one has been so hard on us. Usually I can handle it because a typical relay only takes 2 months. I don't know how those women who's husbands are in Iraq/Afghanistan or who's schedules don't match and one works a graveyard shift or doctors in their residency or a job that constantly has you traveling--I don't know how those couples do it for months and months--sometimes years! It's hard on your marriage. I just want a normal life where my husband comes home from work and I give him a kiss then we cook together, pour a glass of wine, prop our feet up and watch our shows together. I want a weekend where my husband and I can actually hang out. Whether it's getting out around the town or staying home all day being lazy. It feels just like it did the first 9 months of our marriage when Scott lived in Memphis and I lived in Fayetteville. I cried and was frustrated and craved normalcy so badly. That's how I am now. I cry, I'm frustrated, and I'm ready for normalcy. We're on the home stretch now praise Jesus. We're going to throw a big party when this is over! We--both Scott and I--deserve it.

Funny Valentine

Happy Valentines Day!! I hope yours was filled with all the love you have for every special person in your life. It doesn't have to just be for the significant other. One of the best Valentines day I ever had was with a little 10 month old named Landon. We shared some peas....he had a bubble bath....we read a romantic story by Dr Seuss....perfection! Valentines Day used to seem like such a big holiday but I guess the older I've gotten the less significant it seems. Don't get me wrong. I'm all about a day where there's an excuse for a splurge whether it's a nice meal, flowers, chocolate, or a pretty present. But it probably ranks least important holiday on my list. Still though! It's worth celebrating. I do feel like its a bit of a girly holiday so I really never get Scott anything extraordinary. I do want to get him something though. This year I went with....
Cheese!!! I have never encountered another human being who loves cheese as much as my husband. I figured it was a crazy good idea for a gift. I contemplated getting all fancy and going with something like a Gouda, Brie, or Havarti. But lets be honest. We all just love a Pepper Jack cube. It's the first to leave the party. Scott found my gift strange and exciting.
I bought a really cute new shirt at Forever today (as seen above). I was way excited about it and the girls at F21 said they all sold out immediately. Then Scott observed it looks a bit refereeish and now I'm majorly questioning cause he might kinda be right. Ugh. At least it was only $13.
Scott and I indulged in a Valentines dinner and went to Ruth's Chris. Scott got a rib eye. Look at the size of that thing!!!!!!! He had no idea it was going to be that big. And in case you're wondering, Scott said its the best steak he's had at RC. I don't like fat on a steak so I dunno....but he thought it was yum!
We came home to this cutie pie--the best Valentine ever--who gets to enjoy some of her Karas leftover filet for lunch tomorrow! If she only knew the goodness that awaits her!!
Oh and Scott got me a great gift for Valentines Day! Two of my Vera Wang champagne glasses. I've broken 2 in the last few weeks and it was slightly traumatizing. They were wedding gifts and I love them and use them a lot. I'm so glad he replenished!! He said he saw how sad it made me to break them so he wanted to make sure I got them back. Both broke the same way too--cleaning them. I'll have to make sure I'm extra careful.

First Snow of 2012

Greetings!!! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was very nice. It was just good to get away and be surrounded by friends. We didn't leave the lake house all weekend long--actually I didn't even step one foot out the door on Saturday--and it was much needed.Like most of Arkansas, we woke up to snow today!! It wasn't much, especially compared to last year, but I still love the snow!! This is better actually because you aren't trapped inside for 4 whole days--like last year. I literally thought I would go nuts with the cabin fever last time. It was horrible!!! Some cute little boys (who are always riding their bikes around our neighborhood) knocked on our door and asked if they could shovel our driveway for $10. Since Scott and I don't know how to say no to the little ones, even when it's an extremely unnecessary purchase, we said yes....and Scott tipped them an additional $10. His excuse was "they're young and learning the value of working hard for money." Ha. Since Scott worked from home today I was a good housewife and made us an omelet for breakfast. It was super healthy too! Just egg whites, spinach, and tomatoes. I honestly think it's the best omelet I've ever had. Just goes to show you don't need all the cheese and bacon to make it good!
Holly isn't like most kiddos. She doesn't enjoy playing in the snow. She just looks at it like 'ew. I'm not getting in that.' So we celebrated the snow day with her favorite--Purina Busy Bone!!!! She's so obsessed that I can't even believe it. We started with these a little before Christmas and now she's very aware of them and asks (in her own little way that only I would know) for them. She's really good at eating them now. It used to take her about 2 hours but she's really aggressive and can totally tackle those bad boys in a solid hour. Look at how filthy she gets when she eats them though! That bone is all over my little doodlebug. Yucky!!
Tonight I made a pizza! Scott and I haven't made a pizza in a while and we used to do it all the time. We just buy a pizza crust, smear a little olive oil on it then add whatever toppings we like. This time we opted for tomatoes, bacon, gobs of spinach, and a little 4 cheese Italian blend from Kraft. We both agreed it's the best pizza we've ever made. We'll totally be having it again this week. And just to make ourselves seem extra nerdy--we calculated it was only about 350 calories!
I was still hungry after dinner so I made a little snack. I always keep chocolate chips and strawberries in my house. I feel like it's not so bad of a splurge. It's impressive how just a few chocolate chips can make such a large amount of melted chocolate. Chocolate covered strawberries are my absolute fav.
And, of course, this little girl got a bath after the Busy Bone mess she made of herself. I know I always say it but....even if she pretends like a bath is major abuse I KNOW she always appreciates it and feels soooo good afterwards. Holly was major spunky today. It's like we knocked 10 years off her life. I think I owe it to the Busy Bones. They make her SO happy.

BTW: For all your Bachelor fans out there--I kinda think Courtney is going to take it all the way. I saw him on Ellen a few weeks ago and it got super awkward when Ellen was criticizing her. And people "in the know" are saying she wins. I also learned reading Us Weekly in the Walmart checkout line yesterday that she used to date Jim Toth (Reese Witherspoons husband) and Jessie Metcalf. I found that innerestin...

This Weekend I'm....

Spending the weekend at the Julian lake house....

A little getaway is much needed....

Even if it's just a 30 minute getaway....

We're indulging in bad food and good wine....

Playing beauty shop (like always)....

Making s'mores by the campfire....

And major relaxing. Happy weekend y'all!

Thursday, February 9, 2012

Hey-O! This post comes to you veeerry early--6 AM to be exact. I'm WIDE awake. I considered going to the gym and getting that over with for the day but my bed feels very cozy so I'm opting to stay put.
When I first woke up, around 5:30, I was surprised to see Holly wasn't in bed with us. She normally wakes up to potty around 2 then asks me to put her in bed. I tossed around then realized there actually was a little furball snuggled between Scott and myself! I guess she asked him to put her in bed instead of me. It's always such a shock when that happens! Oh hello there Holly. Glad you made your way up here!

Speaking of Holly, she went to the beauty shop yesterday! She looks so cute!! She always looks younger to me when she gets a little haircut. I don't know what I was thinking when I agreed to a 8 AM appointment. Holly doesn't wake up until 11:30 & I don't even think about getting dressed for the day for a solid 2 hours after 8. But when people ask if I can be there by 8 I don't know how to say "no that's way too early for us do you have another time slot available?" so I always just say yes. Poor Holly was nearly still asleep when I handed her off to Gail--her hairstylist. I asked her if Holly just stands there all pitiful like while she's grooming her and she said "oh yeah she's like a statue." The look on Holly's face when she's getting a bath (or groomed too I guess) is so funny to me. She looks like she's getting abused and turns so sad and sulky. Silly girl! I try to tell her that everyone has to take baths but it doesn't make her feel better.
I bet Gail thinks I'm so homely. I don't think she's ever seen me with makeup on and I always have makeup on. The first time I took Holly I had just left the gym and was surprised she could squeeze us in so quickly. Last time I was sick as can be and only able to keep down 6 saltines in a 2 day period. Scott was so busy at work so he couldn't take her and I didn't want to cancel so I somehow managed to get a small ounce of energy and take her there. And this last time.....I mean, the Johnson household doesn't get dressed before 8 AM unless it's for an airplane ride so....
One of these days I'm going to look presentable. I bet she thinks I just love Uggs, sweatpants and my Northface fleece.
Listen to what I ate yesterday. A CFA spicy chicken biscuit for breakfast, chili and a baked potato from Wendy's for lunch, and half a quesadilla from Flying Burrito--with a side of queso--for dinner. What the? Hello Rotunda!! Isn't that horrible/embarrassing. I don't know what got into me but I woke up thinking "ehh, I don't care what I eat today." And of course I didn't work out because what's the point after eating like that. I've got some major damage control to take care of today.
Alrighty well, I'm going to try to fall back asleep for another hour or so. I hope you guys have a great day!

I love this picture of my sweet girl! It's a rare shot of her playing with toys that aren't her Snake or Ball. Holly has had Snake and Ball her whole life and she's very loyal to them and never plays with any other toys. Momma brought these toys up this weekend. Holly got them for Christmas a few years ago but like all new toys she gets, she enjoys them for maybe 2 minutes then moves along. I was so shocked to watch her run to the little pink piggy, in the middle of us playing with Ball, and ask to play with that instead! It was a moment. I had to take a photo.

Today was a rough day. I've had a lot of those lately. I seem to be more sad than happy the last few months which is really not like me. I guess everyone feels that way a few times throughout life right? It seems to be taking a toll on my body though. I think I have a pinched nerve in my neck and my heart is, what I can only describe as, fluttering. My (doctor) Uncle wants me to see my primary care physician but I feel like I go all the time and they'll be like, 'oh here's that girl again.'
So the stress of my stress is stressing me out.
Someone put this on Facebook today and it broke me when I read it. You know how sometimes you feel like things are said or happen just for you? I felt like the Lord put this on Facebook for me today. It's from the song Blessings by Laura Story.

'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops

What if your healing comes through tears

And what if a thousand sleepless nights

Are what it takes to know You're near

What if my greatest disappointments

Or the aching of this life

Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy

And what if trials of this life

The rain, the storms, the hardest nights

Are Your mercies in disguise.'

It was just what I needed to be reminded of and I'm going to try to remember that.
And if that song weren't enough to make me feel better than this adorable face is. Because I could never look at my sweet Holly and not instantly get happy. She's everything.

Super Bowl Weekend

I had a great weekend! My parents came to visit and I so enjoyed their company! We were very local this weekend. I wanted to introduce them
to some of my favorite local restaurants that they hadn't been to before. On Friday night we ate at Basils and it was delish!!! Of course. Saturday we had lunch at Tusk and Trotter which is on the square in Bentonville. The Five and Dime, which is just around the corner of T&T, has recently been renovated so we decided to check that out. It was so neat!! We probably spent an hour in there. It's a little mini museum on how Walmart has evolved. I highly recommend going to see it. Just knowing that the biggest company in the whole wide world started just a few miles from where I live is so cool!! For dinner we ate at one of my favorite locals, Table Mesa. Scott's Dad joined us for the evening and my Dad could not stop raving about how much he liked Table Mesa. It really is so yummy. We didn't have time to go to Crystal Bridges unfortunately. One of these days I really am going to go!! It's so embarrassing that I haven't made it yet.
My parents left town fairly early on Sunday but we squeezed in an early lunch at Fish City Grill (see, all local) before they left. I just loved that they came up just to see me, Holly, and Scott. Usually when they come to town it's for business so I felt extra special that they made the trip to NWA.
We held a little mini Super Bowl party at Randy's since he has the big theater room. We catered Flying Burrito and it was a fun time. I was glad the Giants won and I thought Madonna put on one of the best halftime shows I've seen in a looooong time.
I have to wake up early tomorrow so I'm in bed and ready to lay my head on my pillow. I need a good nights sleep so I've distracted Holly with a Chewnola and she's currently chewing it in her little bed. Hopefully she stays there a while. I LOVE my little snuggle bug and there's nothing like cuddling with her but she knows how to seriously disturb my sleep by hogging my bed space and I'm in desperate need of a really good nights rest. I know I say it all the time but it's so amazing how a little 7 pound furball can take up so much space??!! Anywho, this weekend was great! Looking forward to a good week. It's pretty non eventful but should be nice nonetheless. Until tomorrow.....

What's In My Bag?

Well hello there. Long time no chat huh? Sorry about that. I felt a little under the weather this week and just didn't feel like blogging. I still have a little bit of a sore throat but I'm feeling much better now....just in time for the weekend! My parents are coming up this weekend and I am so excited about that. I'm taking them to one of my favorite restaurants in Rogers, Basil's, tonight and I'm really looking forward to it! They've never been and I know they'll love it. We also plan on touring Crystal Bridges this weekend as well. It's kinda crazy that it's like, 2 miles from my house and I've never been so I plan on fixing that tomorrow. My little doodlebug is doing good! She is very spunky today and won't stop following me every where I go. The last two days she slept literally like, 21 hours each day. She's obviously very rested which must be why she has some extra spunk. She told me she really wanted to go bye bye with me and since I don't know how to tell her no, I took her to Macadoodles! I love that she's so wittle I can just put her in my bag! I also love that she will totally make herself comfterable and just hang. She's totally content sitting in there. I honestly think if she had to sit there for an hour she would happily stay put. I should take her more places actually because she's so easy to tote around and nobody seems to care if she's just chillin in my handbag!! I love this picture of her with her one little arm propped up. Haha. It gives me the chuckles.
Alrighty well, my parents will be here shortly and I need to run a few errands before they arrive. I hope you all have a great weekend!
